HOW DOES IT WORK?
The
Scenic Biofilter uses a biological principle to transform all waste
materials which builds up deadly ammonia (NH3) into Nitrites (NO2) and
then into Nitrates (NO3). Creating a complete, natural and biological
waste processing system that is totally safe for your fish with clear
water. You will have a product with features almost impossible to improve
with other filtration systems that could cost you several hundred dollars.

HOW
TO PLACE THE SCENIC BIOFILTER
The Scenic Biofilter must fit tightly into your aquarium, avoiding open
corners to allow the suction produced by the suction tubes to be evenly
distributed over the surface of the filter. Also, you want the corners
snug so small fish are not trapped between the filter and aquarium walls.

Place
silicone glue along the edges of the filter before placing the
filter into the aquarium. Once in place, press the edges of the
filter so the silicone glue forms a thin film against the glass
on all sides of the filter. Wait four hours and then fill the
aquarium with tap water, this to flushing the system in order
to remove small particles of foam, paint, and dust and silicon
odor that your filter may contain. Put the filter to work for
six hours period. Empty your aquarium.
Finally
fill your aquarium again with pure declorinated water , add your
fish.

As
with other biological filters, you have to wait a few days for
the aquarium water to get acclimated. Once the aquarium is acclimated,
you can relax and enjoy a minimal maintenance aquarium. All you
have to do is occasionally change a portion of water that has
been treated properly.
